Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Website Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, a deep understanding of current web technologies, and the ability to translate design concepts into functional, responsive, and user-friendly websites. You will work closely with our design, content, and project management teams to deliver exceptional digital experiences for our clients and internal projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks or CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify).

• Collaborate with designers to implement UI/UX designs with precision and attention to detail.

• Customize and maintain existing websites, plugins, and themes.

• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and cross-browser compatibility.

• Integrate APIs, third-party services, and database-driven features as needed.

• Ensure websites meet security, accessibility, and performance standards.

• Troubleshoot issues and provide timely support and maintenance.

• Document development processes and maintain clean, scalable code.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Website Developer or similar role.

• Proficiency in:

  • Front-end: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (Vanilla, jQuery, or frameworks like React or Vue.js)

  • Back-end: PHP, MySQL, or other server-side technologies

  • CMS: WordPress 

• Experience with website builders, hosting environments, and version control (e.g., Git).

• Familiarity with SEO best practices and performance optimization.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.

• Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., WooCommerce, Shopify).

• Understanding of UX/UI principles and responsive design techniques.

• Knowledge of deployment workflows and staging/live environments.
